We are lucky to be able to walk to the local pub. This place is a little gem nestled in the City Center of DuPont, WA. It’s really an American-Irish Pub. They have amazing traditional dishes like Shepherd’s Pie and Corned Beef & Cabbage, but there are also Chicken Strips for the less adventurous.
It’s a restaurant on one side and a bar/ pub on the other, so if you wish to bring the kids, or hang out and watch the sports, McNamara’s can accommodate.
The pub has an extensive selection of beer and spirits, and I am super excited that they have Stella Artois Cidre on tap.
Although partial to Fish & Chips, hubby also likes to get the Shepherd’s Pie and Soda Bread. The soda bread is amazing. I need to try to cook it at home one day.

Our first visit was on a Sunday, and we were happy with the All Day Sunday Happy Hour. I can’t guarantee it will always be this way, but it was a nice surprise after a long afternoon of Open Houses. Military also get 10% off on Sunday with a valid ID.
For my second visit I went all in for the Irish Trifecta. This included smaller portions of Shepherd’s Pie, Corned Beef & Cabbage, and the Steak & Guiness Stew (Chunks of choice beef braised in Guinness with roasted carrots, parsnips, onions and Colcannon)

Please check them out. It is worth the trip to DuPont just for a beer and soda bread…and maybe PUB PRETZELS & BEER CHEESE!
